Her family moved to Newbury, VT where she spent her childhood, attended school, and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the Vermont mountains.

Lorna was passionate and dedicated to whatever project she embraced in life.

She left home to study English Composition at Keene State College for 2 years before returning to Newbury to support her family in tough times. started a family, and set forth working together t. In 1971, Lorna and her family hit the road, traveling up the east coast to Prince Edward Island, researching family heritage, and living in a camper for almost a year- all the while enjoying the adventure.
